To your left and below you will find some of the ways to be connected at Solomons Porch. Please check our calendar for the most current events and opportunities. We welcome your participation and enjoy your contribution in our community.

Weekly Dinners
Wednesdays at 6:30 PM (various homes) We gather together to eat, laugh, meet one another and develop friendships. The dinners take place three Wednesdays of the month. See the Calendar for location and directions can be acquired by calling the office at

(612) 874-6555 or email liz@solomonsporch.com.

Bible Discussion Groups
Tuesday nights at 7:30 PM (Solomon's Porch) These discussion groups focus on the part of the Bible that we will look at in the following Sunday Worship Gatherings. It is a great time to meet new people, talk about the Bible and hear other people's ideas and insights.

Monday Art Gatherings
We meet every Monday at 7pm in our Blaisdell Location. It lasts about two hours and everyone is welcome. Each night is a mixture of discussion, creation, and dreaming. We talk about current and future art events and projects. Some people bring their own things to work on, and some come for conversation.

Book Club
One Saturday morning a month (Deborah Martel's home) This group meets to discuss a book that has been read ahead of time. The books represent many genres. Details are available on the Calendar page.

Service Opportunities
We feel it is not only our responsibility, but our joy to help out in the community we live in. It is part of living rightly with God and others. We often have impromptu and schedule opportunities to serve in this way. See the Calendar for details and directions.

Women's Book Club

Meets Thursday nights at the Brown's House

Sunday Night Party
Nearly every Sunday Night after the 5pm gathering a number of us stick around in the Living Room to hang out. Some get General Tso's Chicken from the Fresh Wok accross the street, and some bring a homemade dinner. You are welcome to join us in this unstructured time that is full of good conversation.
