Melissa Cathcart, L.Ac.

Melissa provides a unique, multi-systemic approach to working with soft tissue that draws on her training and experience in Chi Nei Tsang Chinese medical abdominal massage, visceral manipulation, cranio-sacral therapy and somatics. In 2000 she graduated from MN Institute of Acupuncture & Herbal Studies with a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupuncture. After studying with a local teacher for two years, Melissa went to Thailand to participate in a month-long Qi-gong intensive with Grandmaster Mantak Chia which culminated in her certification as a Universal Healing Tao Qi-gong instructor and Chi Nei Tsang practitioner. Melissa pursued training in visceral manipulation through Barral Institute and has studied with two cranio-sacral therapy instructors. Melissa is an inspiring teacher and facilitator. emergence, Melissa’s program of change management for women, is a facilitated program for women that combines self-discovery exercises, meditation, goal-setting, peer counseling, life-and health coaching as a framework for effecting change in one’s life and cultivating momentum for personal evolution.  Melissa also offers classes to patients that address health concerns and encourage self care. Her classes for practitioners are accredited for continuing education credits.


Rachel Kremer, MSW, LICSW

Rachel believes everyone can achieve healing and a vibrant quality of life.  Her approach to working with people is designed to assist and guide in the healing process.  Each person and family has their own unique abilities and in a trusting therapeutic relationship these abilities are uncovered and developed to assist in the healing and build vitality. For the past 15 years Rachel has been a counselor and therapist assisting children, youth and adults to accomplish goals and overcome issues in order to live a full and balanced life.  She plans to continue working with children, youth and adults in her private practice. Clients have relied on Rachel to assist with all kinds of issues and life situations.  She has considerable expertise in helping manage anxiety, depression, worry and stress as well as many different and complex family situations including adoption and the impact of trauma and abuse. Rachel received her BA in Sociology from the University of St. Thomas, her MSW from the University of WI – Milwaukee and has been licensed in MN since 1997. Whether talk therapy, art and play therapy or sandplay therapy, incorporating a variety of theories and techniques helps ensure a good fit for a specific individual and their situation.  Rachel values the therapeutic relationship and input and expertise of her clients to assist in solutions.


Brian Stawarz, LP, LMFT, LLC

Brian is a licensed psychologist and marriage and family therapist, with 26 years of clinical experience. Prior to his position as Outpatient Services Director at Children’s Home Society & Family Services, he provided therapeutic services, supervision, and consultation in a hospital and community mental health setting for 22 years collectively. In the earliest part of his career, Brian worked with troubled youth in wilderness settings and developmentally delayed adults as live-in counselor. Believing in the process of helping other therapists practice, Brian went on to add supervision skills to his career path, gaining status as Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He has consulted with County Social Service and Probation departments, and currently participates in numerous community organizations such as the Youth Intervention Programs Association (YIPA) of Minnesota. Brian also supervises clinical therapists who work with children, couples and families and youth and adults referred by the court system.  Brian’s philosophy about therapy and counseling is centered on the concepts of competence, relationship health and the strength gained through psychological awareness. He believes in an inherent ability to find possibilities and avenues for change and sees himself as a collaborator with his clients in working towards those opportunities. Brian currently works with adults and couples.


Katherine Kleingartner

Katherine Kleingartner has worked as a certified massage therapist for over 20 years. She graduated from Minnesota Center for Shiatsu Study in 1993 and promptly began her career by working with elderly clients in their homes improving balance, core strength, managing pain and creating comfort. Her toolbox has grown to include Trigger Point therapy, relaxing Swedish massage, Deep tissue massage, energy work including Chakra Balancing, and Chinese Reflexology. Her clientele has also grown to include people of all ages with many different ailments.  Experience truly is the best teacher in this profession. Katherine loves to nurture and believes that by listening intensely to what her clients reveal, she can choose just the right combination of skills to provide relief, results and ultimately peace. Christian Fetsch, L.Ac., M.S.T.C.M., F.A.B.O.R.M

Christian founded the Natural Health and Fertility Center in 2005. He received his Master of Sciences in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco and also studied for a year and a half at the number one teaching hospital affiliated with the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Tianjin, China. 

Christian was among the first practitioners in the nation to sit for the American Board for Oriental Reproductive Medicine’s first exam and was Minnesota’s first Fellow. He is nationally certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine as a NCCAOM Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. The Natural Health & Fertility Center focuses on treating a variety of issues.  Since 2005, the NHFC has been treating fertility and male and female reproductive health issues, including support of Western reproductive treatments. General health care treatments addressed include treatment of asthma (in children and adults), back pain, cancer support treatments, digestive health, migraines, sciatica, and other issues.  NHFC’s treatment philosophy is based on the ancient health care systems from Asia, especially from China. This Chinese system is the oldest continuous medical system in the world and has shown its effectiveness simply through its longevity. Chinese medicine seeks to identify imbalance or disturbances in the relationships between Yin/Yang, or other areas, and correct them using acupuncture, herbal medicine, Asian dietary therapy, tuina physiotherapy, and other techniques.


Kingfield Community Acupuncture offers comprehensive and affordable acupuncture two days per week. Julie Sihilling MSW, LGSW

Julie is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker who offers counseling for adult individuals and couples. She received a BA in English from the Johns Hopkins University in 2008 and her MSW in May of 2015 from the University of Minnesota. From 2014-2016, Julie practiced as a therapist at the MPSI Psychotherapy Center in Uptown. She is committed to creating a safe and nurturing space in which she helps clients reduce their symptoms and achieve personal insight. Through the therapeutic relationship we uncover negative patterns. By understanding these unhelpful patterns, we can then address them so that you can lead a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Prior to entering the field of social work, Julie pursued a career acting in the theatre. She is now interested in and is uniquely capable of providing psychodynamic therapy to individuals in creative professions.
