Galleries
We see art as inseparable from our space. It can be found in stairwells, closets, and couch cushions. Also, we have three hallways and a family room that are used for intentional gallery space. If you are interested in displaying in these spaces or you can talk to Luke Hillestad at luke@solomonsporch.com
Monday Night Art Gatherings
We meet every Monday at 8pm in the Family Room at Solomon’s Porch for about two hours and everyone is welcome. Each night is a mixture of discussion, creation, and dreaming. We talk about current and future art events and projects. Some people bring their own things to work on, and some come for conversation. Please visit and Like our Facebook Page for up-to-date information.
The Bell Tower Art Studio
Dingy, unfinished wood floors, exposed concrete block walls, crumbling plaster ceiling and a single light bulb together make up a room that would not be useful for much, yet it has become a wonderful space for the creation of our visual art.
Here we value collaboration and believe the communion of artists in this room to be one of the ways we live out the dreams of God. The room is to be used by anyone wanting to participate and all are welcome to walk in and check it out. If you would like to participate contact Luke Hillestad at luke@solomonsporch.com
Artisan Co-op
Solomon’s Porch is full of talented and resourceful people. We are imaginative and diligent, and we want to pursue goodness and beauty in the world. Another one of our desires is to be a sustainable community. Many of us are self-employed or work for businesses that we really care about, and many of us want to support our local economy.
This space is meant to facilitate connections for these people. Here there are goods for sale, things to trade, and advertisements for services. Everything is one of our own creations or initiatives. Consider co-operating with us! Purchase from one of our artisans or be an artisan yourself. If you have any questions contact Luke Hillestad at luke@solomonsporch.com
