Your contribution will go to building a home for a family in the village of San Juan La Laguna or San Pablo La Laguna, Guatemala.
We appreciate your willingness to partner with these families in creating a more healthy and stable environment for their children.
Above are before and after pictures of construction of the cinder block concrete houses that replace the mud and thatch structures. Concrete homes are not only safer and warmer but provide a living environment that is free from the bacterium that lives in the mud. This contributes greatly to the health of the entire family, especially young children.
Homes cost $1800 to construct. Our teams serve as additional laborers working alongside Guatemalan masons. Your contribution pays for the materials and pays the mason’s fees. In this way we are not only supporting the family with a home but the economy of the village.
