Administrative/Budget:
This group is responsible for staff policy and procedure creation. They are a group of accountability for reviewing contracts, policies, and the budget. They meet once a month. Art:
This group facilitates and empowers artists to create and exhibit in our Community. They manage proceeds for Art Initiatives and are responsible for the art events and the art in our space. Children, Youth and Family:
This group exists to equip children, youth and families to be deeply connected to God in all of life – body, mind, soul, and spirit – through a cooperative effort with Solomon’s Porch. They help oversee childrens’ programming on Sunday nights, recruit and coordinate volunteers, and plan family-friendly activities for the community. Covenant Participant:
This group is made up of the nine tapestry group leaders. They fulfill their Tapestry facilitator roles and also help in the decisions for our community that encourages and empowers the Pastor. Facility:
This group supervises the use of the building and grounds. They also maintain the function of and initiate improvements to the building. They meet a few times a year. It is a one-year commitment. For more information, contact Andy C. at facility@solomonsporch.com
Gatherings:
This group assists in the planning and organizing of Sunday nights. There are 3 contractors involved in this group who are responsible for logistically running Sunday evening gatherings, and this group assists as needed and provides accountability and encouragement for the contractors as they plan throughout the year. In Residence Group:
This group empowers and encourages the various artists in this community. They focus on all areas of expertise, i.e. if you are a nurse, a cook, or a theologian, that person becomes the Artist in Residence in that field within our community. They help create, organize, and maintain these individuals and help to give our community more resources to connect with. They meet once a month and it is a one-year commitment.
