Women’s Retreat October 25-27
Oct. 25 – 27th
45340 215th Lane
Aitkin, MN. (On Round Lake.)
Cost: $60 for food and facility expenses. All registrants will have some light, shared responsibilities related to food management and cleaning the cabin.
Jake Freeberg’s family has generously offered to let us use their cabin for a Solomon’s Porch women’s retreat. We hope to have a weekend full of fun along with intentional conversations around the cycle of life.
We have room for a maximum of 25 women. The first 12 registrants will have access to a shared bed. Floor space will be available for up to an additional 13 women, who will need to bring their own bedding and mattresses. The cabin has three bathrooms and a full kitchen (including a dishwasher, coffee maker, and Keurig machine). It does have thin walls, so please bring ear plugs and sound machines, if desired. We will all help a little with food management and clean-up, and we will all need to pitch in on Sunday to leave the cabin cleaner than we found it. We will arrange car pool options with registrants.
The cabin is within driving distance of state parks for hiking. It is also near The Mille Lacs Reservation Museum and Trading Post: https://www.mnhs.org/millelacs/visit/hours. You may also want to brush up on your Pickleball skills because there may be a tournament.
